Done This Week
Good news is, we found a machinist, who did the work on the head and returned it to the mechanic. It didn’t end up being as damaged as we initially thought, will wonders never cease. Bad news is, the mechanic won’t be done with it until sometime Monday. So I’ve got at least one more day of carpooling to get through.
Yes, I am losing my mind, thank you for asking.
Lewisia: 3 new pieces, plus another bonus piece written, all of October queued up
Day job: 43.5 hours
Cooking: Millionaire Shortbread from Baking Yesteryear--good, but I would make a lot of changes to get it closer to my usual preferred style for these (thicker, chewier caramel, first and foremost)
Watching: The Matrix, because I wanted to watch it through the lens of a story of trans identity and transition
Listening: Dear Wormwood by The Oh Hellos (the next in the series, as it were, and very good again)
Playing: after getting to have a friend visit in Animal Crossing for the first time, I’m on a tear to redesign some parts of my island
Aftermarket Parts: finished the second module in the voice class
