In the massage therapist’s office, xer client and friend stayed carefully still as xie traced the pattern of muscle connections under his skin. Xie added a few more lines to the diagram in progress, then scrubbed out an incorrectly patterned patch of suckers on the underside of a secondary tendril. This would be the first handbook for massage therapy on subjects with tentacles, and xie still had so much to catalogue.
