"I'm not saying you can't use live pyrotechnics in a production of The Sun By Moonlight," the theater teacher explained slowly to the new year of drama students, even as his TA in the background yelped out, "I am!" Several of the students looked determined, possibly even mutinous, and the teacher couldn't decide if he relished the opportunity to see what such minds put together or despaired of the likelihood of all of them surviving the term. "I just think we probably need to consult with the veterinary medicine department before we deploy any firebirds in the rafters of the theater."
