Rachel asked as she sipped at her beer while the sunlight slanted across the patio of the Frog and Opal, the bartender seated beside her so their feet occasionally knocked together companionably under the table. "We haven't had a local one since the lager geyser of '72," he explained as he doodled a little geyser spout in the condensation left on the tabletop. "I remember reading about that case," Rachel said, her detective's mind immediately calling up the details of sabotage and soured love, and the idea of a brewery settled comfortably into the backs of both their minds for a little while longer.
