Lake Lewisia #294
The railroad had once been economically central, yes, to the logging that took place in the area beyond the bounds of Lewisia, but it had never been physically central. So no one could fully explain the long, mournful whistles of passing trains that were sometimes heard on the edges of town where no tracks existed. Historians had attempted to excavate the area for buried relics, but neither wood nor iron could be found and so no ghost trains could be exorcized.
