Lake Lewisia #828

Like skin hunger could damage isolated people who needed physical contact with others, soul hunger plagued those who came from species and cultures with soul bonds who yet found themselves among people for whom the soul was more of a theory than a practical consideration. It was akin to being stranded on a lush but deserted island: physical needs met, there was nothing to occupy the mind but the increasingly desperate attempts to send up a message that reached another person. That, at least, was the explanation theorized when the abductions started among the psychically aware.

You're awesome. 😊👍

I never knew skin hunger was a thing. Or that I had it. I realized that from things I read here in DW.

Soul hunger - well that's another new thing I just learned about here. Just a few short sentences have put a number of things in perspective.

What I do with it is still up in the air. But at least I'm aware of it. =]
