Will whoever has been stealing all the turning leaves please stop and return at least some of them to the trees around town? We understand their bright colors and crisp sounds are tempting, and we commend you for whatever acrobatic skills or selective telekinesis has allowed you to pluck just the prime turned leaves from an assortment of trees without--and we reiterate our admiration and gratitude--any apparent damage to the trees. But autumn's joys are important to the whole community and many people would like to enjoy a leaf pile leap at the end of the season.
