Ladies, gentlemen, and distinguished personages, we have all waited for this day to come around again. Through the dark and cold of winter, we waited and hoped that, when summer came, it would be fierce and fiery enough to grant our wish. Yes, residents: the high today has reached 114 degrees in the park, and the phoenix eggs are spontaneously igniting, ready to hatch a new generation of sunbirds.
