He approached the huge chest freezer with dragging feet, mind flashing up images of bodies whole or in pieces that might be stored inside. Working for a grocery delivery service didn't usually involve bringing the boxes inside, but he hadn't had the heart to say no when the customer wheeled back from the open door. Two hundred pounds of frozen fish, in comparison, seemed positively welcoming when discovered within, and his relief made it easy to ignore the stifled laughter of the likely-mermaid behind him.
