Lake Lewisia #325
Dec. 22nd, 2018 05:25 pmShe tinkered with code so often, her fingers tended to do it even when she wasn’t at a computer, scrolling through screens that weren’t there. It snuck up on her, then, the way that little things changed around her whenever she let her fingers move on their own, her mind clear and peacefully drifting. The source code of the world never became visible to her, but she learned the feel of it, the way reality flexed under her twitching fingers, the way it yielded to her debugging.
