While there is still plenty of winter left, it is time for the annual Feeding of the Sun Festival, to help bring warmth and light back into our world. Residents are invited to bring candles, flashlights, torches, glow sticks, bioluminescence plant life, and any other source of light to the park for a predawn celebration Saturday morning. A pancake breakfast will be served afterward, and there will be plenty of games to play for any little ones willing to be awake at that hour.
