plague journaling
Apr. 18th, 2020 07:24 pmThe only thing more surreal than the experience of continuing to work through the shelter at home order has been, will be the experience of watching everyone return to work after it's lifted. I mean, on some level, it's an issue of someone saying, hey, I'm back, and getting the response, oh, were you gone? But I've harped on that long enough.
All this talk I'm hearing about reopening the economy, however fast or slow and by whatever methods, just gives me the tilting surrealism heebie-jeebies. It feels like someone's trying to load an older save state in a video game because something went wrong. Aw, dip, I triggered the pandemic plotline. I gotta load up from before I put my hand on that glowing rune in the abandoned mine.
