Lake Lewisia #520
Apr. 24th, 2020 05:42 pmThe creature did not have the word for sulking, but that was what it was doing, down in the depths beneath the ruins. It also didn’t have words for ghosts, discorporated entities, or variably concrete lifeforms, but it knew it was unfair, positively cheating, for its teeth and claws to pass right through the man exploring its territory. It could hear him up at the surface, talking, warning, so the creature held out hope that he had a partner with a face it could bite.
