plague journaling
Apr. 30th, 2020 07:02 pmAnother day, another email. Different sender this time, so the tone took a step back from "manic self-promoter who's forgotten the End Times already arrived." I...you know, I have almost no memory of what it said? My memory is shit lately, this is true.
I know the main upshot is that, starting Monday, they're moving the AM and PM shifts back to their normal times. No more air gapping the two shifts to avoid cross-contamination. Now PM will arrive before we leave, and everyone is invited to horribly fuck up the main gowning room, provided they do it five people at a time. Because that, T H A T will be what keeps us safe. Not letting more than five people put on their jumpsuits at once. *sigh*
They're really leaning into the whole lifting restrictions thing now. Not that sure why. Not sure how much of a difference it has made in anything. I guess PM might not love their later start time from the past month and change. Honestly, I'd just as soon continue coming in when I have been. Fifteen minutes was never that much of a difference, I like not being crowded all the time at work or on the road, and I don't want to have to change my (extensive, executive function-substitute) morning alarms again.
They say they're still working on sourcing cleanroom approved masks. Which...kinda makes me wonder about the status of the ones they currently have us using. Not my problem. Don't care. Not thinking about it too hard.
