scrubjayspeaks: hand holding pen over notebook (done this week)
Energy and attention have improved, so it feels less like dragging a ten-ton weight through thick mud when I try to do anything.

Lewisia: 3 new pieces written, I almost think I'm remembering how words work

Gratitude journaling: 35 new entries

Tumblr queue: 35 posts added

Day job: 41.5 hours, minus a power outage and an appointment for some meaninglessly early stopping times

Cooking: beef shigureni again, which somehow has never tasted as good as the first time I made it and I can't figure out what changed

Reading: Mastermind by Maria Konnikova, maybe I'll actually maintain focus long enough to finish a book again

Other: another pointless doctor appointment *eyetwitch*

Round one of pressed flowers are now out of the press. Round two has gone in. I'm being careful not to pick TOO many since I want things to a) feed insects and b) go to seed for next year. But so much is blooming, I've definitely got enough to spare for a few cuttings.

I've lost a fair chunk of time today to browsing seed stores online. Oh, I am going to absolutely maul this place with seeds. I'm going to convert the patch outside my bedroom window first, which is about 110 ft. by 40 ft. A robust zone, and an entirely empty one.

I am going to buy something ludicrous, like multiple pounds of mixed native wildflower seeds, hundreds of dollars worth if I must. I am on a mission. I'm going to have Howl's flower fields, I am going to prop up the bee population, and I'm going to wander around in a witch hat like an absolute maniac.

I am going to live my best life this spring.
