Today's Keyboard Smash
Jul. 16th, 2020 07:10 pmMm, yep, definitely a flare coming on.
Work has been shockingly boring this week. My reward for spending weeks getting the Cursed Work Order done was to train on something I technically already know but needed a refresher on. This has proven to be dull as ditchwater. And since I had help, I basically got a minute out of every two where I could just fold my arms, close my eyes, and switch my brain off.
I daydream about one-pound bags of wildflower seeds and beehives now. It's an all-consuming obsession. I would be worried if it weren't such a fundamentally benign set of circumstances about which to fantasize. I just want it to be winter, so I can buy seeds and await the rain of spring.
You are likely to hear this refrain repeated until the days are consistently no hotter than about 85 degrees. Apologies in advance and all that. Be kind to me--my jaw still hurts from yesterday and I can feel my pulse in all my extremities whenever I hold still.
