Today's Keyboard Smash

Sometimes I think holidays off work just make things more annoying. This week lasted approximately three thousand years in comparison to last week. It didn't help that the work was...difficult, to say the least. Also, I haven't been left alone in ages, so I don't get to listen to podcasts. What do they think I'm there for--a job or something? *g*

I am possibly exchanging some of whatever kind of biscotti I make for some of the beef jerky a coworker is making. I say possibly because I'm not even sure if I'm making that this weekend, but it somehow turned into a thing while we were talking today. How did this happen? Why am I being friendly? Why am I always working with this person, such that I am unable to properly maintain my rather substantial dislike of them?

Why won't the world permit me to be the recluse I was obviously designed to be?
