Done This Week

My dog's appetite is back, which pretty much overrides anything else I might be perturbed about. That being said, the New Year and time off work did not suit me as well as I would have liked. I really don't cope well with temporary disruptions to my routines. I am, if nothing else, slowly getting better at recognizing when some other force is messing with me--routine changes, hormones, weather--and placing the blame where it belongs, rather than assuming I'm just a willful disaster.

Lewisia: 3 new pieces written

Gratitude journaling: 35 new entries

Tumblr queue: 35 posts added

Day job: 31.5 hours

Cooking: apple butter (mediocre), chocolate-raspberry biscotti (remarkably good and done by just modifying my base recipe without additional guidance)

Cleaning: 1.25 hours of sorting trading cards and reorganizing/rehanging the rack of clothing on new, fancy hangers

Other: bathing the dog repeatedly, posted my page for the Rose & Bay Awards nominations (more on this later), did copperbadge's Four Advisors tarot spread for New Year's (still working through the analysis)

SENSE-ation Fest Bingo - fills completed

Catching up on my bingo card fills. I spent December doubling back to some of the older ones from this year as well. All caught up with the pieces that have posted now!
