Done This Week
Mar. 7th, 2021 06:25 amDespite needing all of Friday to reset my shattered brain into a functional arrangement, it ended up being a good weekend.
Lewisia: 3 new pieces written, and 1.3k words for the April bonus (too long! must trim!)
Gratitude journaling: 35 new entries
Tumblr queue: 35 posts added
Day job: 42 (physically exhausting) hours
Cooking: melonpan using this recipe, with freeze dried raspberries and raspberry extract added to the cookie topping--so tasty!
Crafting: patched two shirts and another pair of pajama pants, with varying degrees of success
Reading: finally finished The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo, which I found both practically useful and deeply charming, providing a reminder of why I always felt so drawn to the Japanese cultural tendency to personify inanimate objects and recognize the spirits of places and things
Other: speaking of Japan--I signed up for Duolingo to brush up on my very rusty college Japanese skills, and at some point I will write a post about the utterly paralyzing shame I feel at even mentioning the mere idle thought of doing something under the heading of ~self-improvement~, but fuck it, I'm going to try this anyway
