We regret to announce that this week's classes at the community college will need to be canceled due to inclement weather. It has been raining inside the School of Engineering and Humanities buildings since Friday last, and while we had hoped for a break in the weather or at least an easing to a manageable dense fog, it was not to be. Students will receive alternate study instructions from instructors by Monday evening to occupy them while the janitorial staff attempts to move the cold front outdoors again using hair dryers.

Today's Keyboard Smash

I have successfully resisted the urge to volunteer to come to work early tomorrow. Someone (many someones) who is not me bungled several elements of this job. It's now going to be down to the wire to get it in on time. I half expected them to ASK me to come in early, but no. In any case, I skipped a break to put in more time on it anyway. That's probably enough stupid martyrdom for one day.

(I'm so bad at this! I am so bad at working only as much as I am paid to work. I am bad at not taking things personally and/or as a challenge.)
