Eyyyy, guess who's got half-a-vax?! Pfizer, baby! :DDDD
I got it done at the event center that hosts the county fair, so it was a familiar place rendered slightly weird by the series of snaking pathways marked out to organize a huge volume of people. That volume of people was in no way present today. The person giving me the shot said they're likely going to close that one before I'm due for the second shot, so I'll need to figure out where I'm going instead. But that is a problem for another week. Today, it's all preemptive ice packs and pain killers and hoping I don't feel like death tomorrow.
I also have more dusty miller to add to the tire planters, more soil and amendments, and a new, totally unnecessary geranium to add to the collection. Oh, and more drip irrigation tubing for the upcoming gourd plantings, which was the reason we actually went to the good hardware and garden store. I got to see Favorite (Former) Coworker there, which was extra nice.
What I don't have currently is a copy of the new Pokemon Snap game. Because I preordered it. And they're shipping it now. After it has released to stores. Which sort of...spoils the advantage of preordering... Also, the little magnetic picture frame you get as a bonus for preordering? Yeah, so, turns out they're shipping it separately. By a different service. And charging me five bucks in shipping because of that. Which, again, seems to me to miss the point entirely of a free bonus. Less than thrilled by all that. On the other hand, I intend to do a bunch of cooking this weekend anyway (any vaccine aftereffects notwithstanding), so I don't really have time to obsessively play a new game anyway.
