It was something of a fluke that she got to attend the trade show as one of the representatives from the factory, when she only had a year of experience and no degree or fancy qualifications. She knew how to keep a morpheus field running, though, and she had built half the demonstration products with her own battered hands--a fact that gave her an air of competence in front of potential customers who could themselves barely explain the difference between an infinite hall dream and a many rooms dream. The disappearance of her predecessor into one of the dream machines, industrial lucidity accident though it may be, had turned out to be a lucky break for her.
