scrubjayspeaks: Town sign for (fictional) Lake Lewisia, showing icons of mountains and a lake with the letter L (Lake Lewisia)
It has been a difficult year for pollinators, with unusual weather poorly timed relative to the short and often fragile life cycles of insects, and the necromancers of the Lewisia region have announced a plan to help. Dead insects have been collected and mass resurrections will be conducted in the coming weeks, allowing for the release of population-bolstering revenants, on the principle that even an undead honeybee can collect pollen. Though the season is late, there is still time for colonies to stockpile winter provisions and for eggs to be laid, all in the hopes that next year, such interventions may be unnecessary.
