Lake Lewisia #778
Jan. 14th, 2022 05:05 pmIt wasn't meant as mischief, exactly, though he certainly didn't mind a bit of chaos as a result of the way he slipped eggs from one nest to another. He had run loose in the forest so long, he had learned to move them without even the animals noticing more than an unexpected pattern on one shell out of a clutch. So far, he had caused the hatching of three cockatrices, a dozen or so very confused goslings, and what so far appeared to be a perfectly ordinary hedgehog despite having come from an owl egg hatched by a rather reluctant garter snake.
