Done This Week
Feb. 13th, 2022 05:22 amIt was a week of hanging things up, apparently. My office looks significantly fancier than it did before. Slowly but with determination, I am finding places to display and enjoy all my lovely stuff.
This month's monster flare seems to be gradually receding. It has left me tired and anxious, in addition to just plain sore. I am trying to give serious thought to scaling back my demands on myself, except of course that I view any successfully established habit as some kind of binding agreement with the universe, to be broken on penalty of death. So. You know. Awkward.
Lewisia: 3 new pieces written
Gratitude journaling: 35 new entries
Tumblr queue: 28 posts added
Day job: 52.25 hours, ohgodohgod make it stop
Cleaning: Project Hang the Curio Cabinet--polished it, rehung it once all the hardware was on the wall, refilled it with a more organized layout than it had previously, arranged oversized pieces (oversized miniatures, heh) in the desk, basked in all the tiny things; also hung the decorative plate and the new polished stone-filled shadow box on either side of the desk
Gardening: pandemic garden club post, hung up old bird feeder and filled with basic seed mix
Lewisia Expansion: 1872 words, which was as much as I could manage with the workweek, anticipating having to rewrite the whole blessed thing now that I've sort of found the story I didn't know I was trying to tell
Ongoing request: Voting is now underway for the Rose and Bay Awards this year. Check out the projects and people that got nominated and vote for your favorites.
