Done This Week
Feb. 20th, 2022 12:10 pmI had personal incident on Tuesday, about which I will not be elaborating at this time. Suffice to say, that took a nailbat to the kneecaps of both the week and my mental health. Anything I accomplished this week that exceeded the level of "curled up in a corner, rocking senselessly" qualified as a heroic success.
Bleak humor aside, I'm actually very proud of how far I've come in being able to cope with both this particular flavor of dire circumstances and the emotions they elicit. Less "gnaw my own paw off to get out of a snare" and more "chew your face off for coming near me." This is progress, if you can believe it.
Lewisia: 3 new pieces written
Gratitude journaling: 35 new entries
Tumblr queue: 28 posts added
Day job: 52 hours, and I made it to the end of the (current) period of mandatory OT at least... ¯\(°_o)/¯
Cooking: milk bread, for the sole and express purpose of being able to make fruit sando and also use the strawberry butter I made
Gardening: succulent club zoom meeting
Lewisia Expansion: 1208 words, which isn't much, but at least I got a bit of planning done at the start of the week as well
Ongoing request: Voting is now underway for the Rose and Bay Awards this year. Check out the projects and people that got nominated and vote for your favorites.
