Done This Week
Feb. 27th, 2022 11:40 amA short work week that felt long. A long weekend that felt short. A normal weekend that felt like a failure. Mostly playing catch-up, and at least that has sort of paid off for me.
Lewisia: 8 new secret somethings written
Gratitude journaling: 35 new entries
Tumblr queue: 28 posts added
Day job: 31.5 hours, thanks to the holiday, still somehow an incredibly long week
Cooking: failed at barbequing, slightly resentful that the baked chicken turned out really good anyway
Gardening: picked up a free plant and a not-free plant from the club, installed some (cheap-ass) grow lights for the office plants, set up an elevated platform in the field for feeding the local ravens (because I want to be the local witch who has corvids bringing them gifts)
Reading: finished Fugitive Telemetry (Murderbot #6), starting in on the novel, Network Effect, also lolled about in the tall grass reading classical haiku to satisfy my inner fifteen-year-old
Lewisia Expansion: 929 words, because it was just a rough week and because I'm almost done and starting to feel the pressure to actually get something right instead of just getting it written
Ongoing request: Monday will be the last day to vote in the Rose and Bay Awards this year. Check out the projects and people that got nominated and vote for your favorites.
