She seemed more interested in his newfound focused attention than in questioning why the stack of permission forms was quite so extensive or why it contained phrases like "experimental training," and "documented side effects," and "light speed-compatible monitors." He hadn't lost his desire to do everything, all the time and as fast as possible, but he thought this might be his best chance at cultivating a superpower to make it achievable.
