These crickets work on much the same principle as canaries in coal mines, but with far fewer dead birds involved. Crickets have long been regarded as symbols of good luck, but less well-known is the reason: crickets are actually allergic to bad luck. Rather than just keeping a fake cricket on your mantle, carry one of our warning crickets with you (attractive carrying cases, straps, and belt holsters available). When you are approaching a space or source of bad luck, gross vibes, or ambient malevolence, the cricket will begin chirping a warning call. This can be used to triangulate your way out of the danger zone. Warning Crickets: singing you safely on your way.
