Lake Lewisia #886
Oct. 21st, 2022 04:05 pmThe inhabitants of the Shipwreck Repair Collective looked forward to death in their own way and its promise of one vast, undimming age of crafting beyond the limitations of flesh or metal. Accordingly, they were buried in the catacombs with grave goods to suit that workshop beyond this realm: honed tools, scrap metal in bars and curls, beads and gears and springs of varying utilitarian or ornamental value. Their closest loved ones, in acts of true devotion, surrendered rolled schematics and sketches to the grave, ideas the survivors would never build in this life so the dead might build them in the next.
