Done This Week
Apr. 16th, 2023 09:15 amWell, I didn't die during my work event. I mean, now a different part of my back hurts, but neither area is as bad as it had been when last week. That totally counts as a win, right?
The nice thing--there were several, actually, it was a pretty good experience all around--*a* nice thing is that the company was fully willing to throw money at my problems. I got brand new tools to make things easier for me, and there's a whole shopping list of additional things we're going to obtain going forward. It was genuinely worthwhile to go through the whole process.
Oh, but now I'm laid out by what I'm optimistically calling allergies/a sinus infection. Splitting headache. Endless sneezing. Really hoping it's not anything covid-y. Doesn't seem to be, but what the hell do I know? Good thing I wear a mask all the time at work anyway, which is the only precaution they're still enforcing anyway. *sigh*
Lewisia: only 2 new pieces, plus another bonus piece written
Day job: 34.75 hours, on account of taking a day off for my mum's birthday
Gardening: weeding, succulent club meeting, bought new plants as part of birthday shopping with mum
Listening: No Kings by Doomtree (addictive, the powerful, manic sound I've been craving lately)
Aftermarket Parts: about 300 words toward what will eventually be one of several pieces on the subject
