As she made her way through the admission line of the museum, she noticed how many people already inside had name tags clipped to their chests, and she grumbled to herself at the prospect of field trip crowds and noisy tours. She headed first for the current special exhibit, only to find the walls empty and the floor full of people slowly milling between the low benches and past the barren plinths. Only as she turned to leave in frustration did she see one of the name tags close enough to read: title, date, and artist name, followed by a short history of the living artwork currently making small talk with the security guard by the entryway.
