Done This Week

Knowing that I had vacation time coming, this week elected to be as long and as boring as humanly possible. Just an insufferable slog, in which I repeatedly woke up thinking it was a day further into the week than it really was, only to realize in disappointment that no, actually, it is not Friday yet, nor Thursday, nor any other hopeful option.

Lewisia: 3 new pieces, plus another bonus piece written

Day job: 43 hours, and once again frantically trying to prepare my counterpart to cope with life without me for a few days

Reading: Persistence: All Ways Butch and Femme edited by Ivan E. Coyote and Zena Sharman (a mixed bag, as all essay collections are bound to be, but very interesting and periodically heart-wrenching)

Listening: Turn The World Round by The Wilderness Yet (an album of Christmas and winter folk songs, to be added to my collection of “I refuse to engage with traditional Christmas” music)

Other: multiple visits to the dentist yaaaaay... (I’m fine)
