Done This Week
Jun. 30th, 2024 12:37 pmCar started making the Bad Noises. It’s going to need a new transmission. Because of course it is. At least I can still drive it in the meantime.
Dad saw the hematologist. No answers yet, but hopefully test results will come through tomorrow. It’s not good, in any case. And kind of regardless of which not good option it ends up being, because of his age, it’s mostly going to be a matter of pain relief and quality of life considerations. There is no getting better at this point.
I’ve really been enjoying watching Dimension 20 from the beginning. I’ve struggled to latch onto ttrpg-based shows, but this one is really working for me. The first sunflower has opened up. I saw a baby bunny in the usual rabbit hangout area here. I found two feathers, raven and hawk, while out watering the trees.
Lewisia: 3 new pieces written
Day job: 41.75 hours, got to go home an hour early due to a power outage
Listening: The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess by Chappell Roan (a delight, will be listening to “Pink Pony Club” and “Hot To Go” on loop for the rest of my life), soundtrack to The Two Towers (aw, every time I catch a fragment of the leitmotif for the Shire and such, I get real sad...)
