Nov. 2nd, 2024 12:27 pmFinal Results
In 3rd place, Marlow the historian, with a cookie-based replica of the Zephyr Carousel!
In 2nd place, Paz the baker, with animate marbled tiger crunch bread mini loaves!
And in 1st place, Lennox the herbalist, with a six-foot buffet bread, comprising a three-course meal in a single loaf!
Marlow will be receiving a crock of starter passed down for generations by the cooks of Stoneheart Manor, as well as a jar of Egyptian tomb honey.
Paz will be receiving an Ötzi Glacial Marble countertop, perfect for getting delicate lamination in pastry even on the hottest summer day thanks to its supernatural coldness, which will be installed at hir very own workstation at Sea Mink Pastries.
Lennox will be receiving The Cure for Anything, a kit of antidotes assembled by The Largely Beneficial Herbalist Circle based on his own poisoner’s kit. He will also be given a guided tour of the tunnels under the Buried Garden to learn about subterranean plants and fungi seldom seen by surface folk. Finally, The Historical Society (courtesy of Marlow himself) offers a copy of a privately held map detailing the last known location of the Wandering Farmhouse, said to have an herb garden unlike any other.
Also, the oven salamander has decided to go home with Lennox and, for its contributions, will be receiving a piece of near-diamond, a coal so dense and flammable it serves as an elixir of life for fire-based creatures.
Congratulations to Lennox and to all our participants! Thank you for sharing so many delicious dishes with our community. We can’t wait to see and taste what you bake up next.
