Lake Lewisia #1197
Dec. 11th, 2024 05:19 pmThe community was encouraged to decorate trees around town as autumn wore on into winter: a consolation for the loss of their leaves. Some crafted paper snowflakes to twirl delicately until the real ones landed in sufficient quantities, while others strung popcorn and berries and orange slices for the wintering birds. If one had more free time and a stronger stomach, they might craft meat garlands for ravens and carnivorous pixies, or they might knit tiny mittens for each branch tip of trees that liked to grab up the unwary.
