Far off the shore of Rocky Head Beach, beyond the sight of anyone without high-powered lenses or raptor ancestry, the icebergs migrated. Where floating islands tended to keep to more temperate climes, the icebergs wandered in the deep, cold waters, but they occupied much the same ecological niche. Stories were told of forbidden romances between penguins and polar bears facilitated by kindly icebergs willing to ferry the lovers from pole to pole.
