Done This Week

scrubjayspeaksOn the one hand, I need quiet--wordless, calm, focused quiet--to get writing done, especially idea generation. On the other hand, my brain is such a bag of cats, I hardly dare to pause the constant stream of podcasts, videos, news, and other human noises I use to drown out the din. I need to create but not to think.
Lewisia: 3 new pieces written, still pulling teeth on this
Gratitude journaling: 35 new entries
Tumblr queue: 35 posts added
Day job: 42 hours
Cooking: continuing the fruit and cheese, this time with a bit of salmon to round it out
Gardening: pumpkin patch planted (Halloween, Halloween, Halloween...!!!)
Reading: devoured Maureen's The Hand on the Wall to finish out the trilogy, which I very much enjoyed; read about half of the short stories in the Robots vs. Fairies anthology as a palette cleanser
