scrubjayspeaksYsabetwordsmith's got a prompt call going for the series I'm completely obsessed with, Daughters of the Apocalypse. It's a new series, just getting started, and I'm so happy to be in early so I can actually keep up with material as it comes out. If you're into lady-centric, post-apocalyptic community building stories, go forth and prompt so we can get more shinies!
Speaking of shinies, both my book orders have arrived. I am deeply, wonderfully spoiled for choice now, but I think the next thing I read will be Jarod K. Anderson's Field Guide to the Haunted Forest, which is a poetry collection. He's the creator behind the Cryptonaturalist podcast. He's also one of those writers who makes me weep and gnash my teeth whenever he turns a particularly lovely phrase, because dammit, I wanna be him when I grow up.
I've signed up to be one of the people coming in to work on Friday, because the place is lightly on fire. Considering the sort of heavy-duty gardening I've been doing on my weekends, this probably means that I'll actually get some rest. :D
