We are asking for the public's help in identifying the owner(s) of the shoes, trousers, and hat found just outside the corn maze growing out at Wagonwheel Field, which may or may not be an indication that one or more persons have been abducted by the corn. As it is not yet October, the corn has not come into its full power, so it may be possible to retrieve anyone lost to it with only moderate peril to the rescuers and mild to moderate permanent changes to those lost. However, the clothing may be a corn-generated ruse designed to draw in just such a party of well-meaning potential victims, so every effort is being made to determine if anyone is actually missing in the first place.
