Done This Week

scrubjayspeaksWell, I’ve got the damn phone and internet back, thank Thor. I now understand how to do all sorts of internet things on my smart phone, which is knowledge I mostly want to scrub from my brain. I don’t want to have my phone constantly pinging me about this, that, and the other thing. But now that I’ve gone through the trouble of setting some things up on it, and knowing that my ISP is just stunning garbage, I don’t want to remove everything in case I need it again. *grumbles in old*
My dog had a vet appointment. She’s a mere wraith of a beast at this point, though she gets all the food she can snorfle down. She needs help getting up often, since her hind end is gradually losing sensation. But her blood work was all good for her age (16), which is particularly impressive considering how many medications she’s been on for most of her life. She’s ancient and decrepit. She’s also mostly happy and reasonably comfortable. So we’ll just keep toddling along as best we can. I know it’s pretty much all borrowed time at this point, but I’ll take it.
No time to cook anything fun this week, which was disappointing.
Lewisia: 3 new pieces, plus another bonus piece written
Day job: 36.5 hours, since I had Friday off--it still felt like I had to get just as much done, I just had less time
Listening: Cast-Iron Pansexual by Adeem the Artist (a slightly rougher sound, which is by no means a negative thing, and even more aggressively queer), also picked up the soundtrack for Labyrinth, with which I have been oddly fixated lately
Other: vet appointment, trip to my hometown, D&D-based birthday party for a friend
