Yeah, the one nice thing so far is that it won't push more noises at me until I look at the last round of notifications (which is to say, turn on the phone screen). And since I only look at my phone very occasionally under normal circumstances, it's mostly settled down.

I do find it baffling that I seem to only be able to set one sound for all notifications--texts, apps, system crap. Must be an Android thing, because goodness knows, my iPad lets me customize notification sounds to an almost absurd degree.
