Waiting for the person you want instead of the closest available for something like this is important. I have a cis female friend who went in for a reduction and the surgeon (available, not first choice) only took off half as much as she wanted because he decided in the surgery room while she was asleep and without talking to her spouse that doing more would give her dysphoria. She has to go to wait x amount of time before she can have another surgeon do a revision and take off the remainder. (iirc it's two to three years for the current work to fully heal and "settle".) The person with lots of good pictures and a waitlist is that busy for a reason.
