Perched on a chair that was at once too large for her young frame and yet so rickety it seemed even her slight weight would collapse it, she watched the old wyrm in its kitchen. A clawed foot reached up above the level of the horned and ragged head and lifted down a cobweb-encrusted ladle to stir the bubbling cauldron, seasoning the soup unwittingly. Like most new adventurers, the girl did not yet know what her adventure would be, but she thought she could spend a long, if humble, quest just on tidying the wyrm hut and caring for its ancient occupant.
