Lewisia might be a place with odd mannerisms, but no one who observed the residents could deny it had manners. Like many enclosed places, it had the manners of not inconveniencing others, of respecting privacy, of making the best of things. Like many enchanted places, it also had the manners of not offending anyone who can curse through more than one generation, of not taking food you don’t know the origins of, of acknowledging the small entities who make the world tick in unseen ways.
