Found a shiny on my perimeter walk this morning.

 

The color striations remind me of salmon sashimi. Now I crave sushi.

Right? The photograph really played it up. In person, there's less shine and transparency. It was still enough for me to go, oh, huh, that looks like food, so the picture turned out just perfect.

Definitely a good picture, it sells it. It looks like membrillo to me... quince jelly in English apparently? IDK. I do hate when beauty products look like delicious things but they're secretly inedible though. Fuck that. I'm not showering with a cupcake on principle.
