Challenge #1: In your own space, introduce yourself!

I'm Joyce Sully, aka freshbakedlady. (They/them pronouns, please.) I write fic and record podfic, not as often as I would like. I also publish original fiction; some of it is free. I'm chronically ill. I have a lot of animals and even more plants. I have a day job in manufacturing now, and I used to work in a restaurant.

I'm on tumblr, where I mostly reblog photography, social commentary, weird stories, and fandom stuff.

I'm on dreamwidth, where I mostly post microfiction, art and photography, life updates, and fandom commentary.

I'm on AO3, where I mostly post traumatized superheroes, found family, and hurt/comfort.

I'm technically on twitter, where I mostly don't do shit because twitter is terrifying.

I'm on my own website, where I mostly sell original fiction.

Right? I get distinct "I do the internet wrong" feelings because I never have gotten the hang of twitter. It's not even an age thing, because most of the people I follow over there are older than I am, sometimes by large margins.

Yeah, I've gotten that vibe myself. But it's too much of a bombardment of free-flowing information for me. And it's far FAR to pubic for me to want to talk fandom. But I can see how it could appeal. Kinda. ;D

Some people cope with it very well? Allegedly? I...don't think I'm the same species, though. It is all the ephemeral, untrackable, rushing river to drown in vibes that I like least about the internet, turned up to 11.

*fistbump* I've got dogs, a cat, ducks, and horses at the moment. The ducks are the only ones I've posted pictures of so far--they've got a tag if you'd like to see.

Hello! And I mean, yelling about audiodrama is, I can only assume, the true purpose of any given media platform. :D

I for one am off to peruse your podcast masterlist, as though there is some gaddang universe in which I need more podcasts to keep up with.
