The Grand Picnic Day is here again, promising sunshine and flowers and all the food any of us can eat! After last year’s difficulties with seating for the community-wide potluck, the City Council has arranged for the entire event to take place not only on the lakeshore but in the forest surrounding, in cooperation with the protective entities that govern that zone. In exchange, we ask everyone to help in decorating the trees with flowers, provided by Wonderland Farms, to spread the May Day cheer.
