Nov. 17th, 2018 07:05 pmAs the day wore on, relentless in its demands, she faded more and more, until she could no longer pick up the dishes to clear a table and both customers and co-workers struggled to see or hear her. She insisted she was not a ghost or any other spirit, which had been everyone’s first guess (with faulty astral projection as a close second). It was just that chronic fatigue took a lot out of a person, and sometimes what it took was corporeality.
