Done This Week

I'm not gonna lie--I'm really starting to feel the time crunch of all the things I keep trying to get done daily. The weekends do actually feel chill, because I have more hours to get the same things done (plus, you know, more, because me). The weekdays are, uh, getting a little difficult to manage, though. But since the alternative to doing things daily often ends up being not doing them at all, because I live and die by my routines, I'm not sure what the solution is.

Unrelatedly, I am choosing to just blissfully lean into the fact that I wake up approximately eighty-seven times in the night, because gods know that seems to be part of life now. I guess!

Gratitude journaling: 35 new entries

Tumblr queue: 35 posts added

Day job: 42 hours

Cooking: this recipe for basic scones with rhubarb and candied buddha's hand added, karaage (fried chicken) with the best crunchy coating I've ever managed thanks to imamu's tip of using potato starch with the dredging flour

Crafting: continued work on Sekrit Blanket #1, including a few rows during the workweek

Gardening: picked up the freebie plant from the club--a cactus???--and did some weeding in the wildflower field to keep the tumbleweeds at bay

Reading: finished The Box in the Woods *more squee*
